  7. My garden is very small since I lost my husband the end of December. He always had a big very nice garden. I have 5 tomato plants,6yellow squash plants ,6 zuquini Plants and 3 bell pepper and 2 jalopena Plants. I sure will miss the new potatos and green beans and purple hull peas and sweet corn he always planted. I still have a lot in the freezer from last year so that will do me for now.I love fresh veggies!

  8. Lucky you! I adore cucumbers. My boyfriend Todd gets way too much pleasure out of calling them cukes. Boys. Mmm, I might have to go make a cucumber salad or something :) Sorry that I've been an absent commenter; I just finished up my law school exams and am finally getting around to my google reader.

  10. (envious)

Last year, I was brand new to gardening and planted my cucumber near my corn and bell pepper plants. The mean lil buggers choked off my plants!! I was too afraid to repeat this year, so I held off on squash in the garden until I have more skills!
