Where I've Been...
I know I've been a bad blogger and haven't posted in several days.... But, lookie where I was!
I may be gone another several months going through the thousands of pictures I took of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, Because it was so breathtakingly beautiful. But until then. Take a look!
They held a very small balloon festival back in my home town in Colorado ever 4th of July (about 77-90 balloonists for the weekend). I loved it! Part of the family tradition was to get up every day early so we could watch them do their sunrise flight and then chase them down. Sometimes, if the currents were right, they'd do a sunset flight or a night flight too.
Your photos are just gorgeous! I miss seeing all the different types and kinds of balloons people come up with and especially like the patchwork one.
Sadly, they don't seem to have even HEARD of ballooning out here in Florida. Maybe it's a west of the Mississippi thing?
Beautiful pictures, my husband and I were at the Baloon Fiesta too! It was amazing, we didn't go at night, sadly, looks like we missed out. We plan to go back next year if possible. I enjoy you blog.
I didn't know you could use a patchwork quilt. I thought you needed special stuff. lol
ReplyDelete*sigh* I miss it already.
ReplyDelete- your spoiled rotten, "city girl", little sister
