Not Something They Hear Everyday.

I live in the country...
I live on a farm...
I am surrounded by various farm animals...
I feed those animals....
I protect those animals....
I love the animals...
and, we even eat those animals...

Needless to say, Farm animals are a HUGE part of our life...

I don't understand why I got such a strange look,
when I drove into the big city to get my hair done....
I took a picture to my hairdresser to show her what I wanted my hair to look like,
Everyone does that right?!?!

Here...
I'll show you....

This is the picture I brought to my hairdresser....

I explained to her that I wanted my hair to match the rear-end of my red Bull.

What?!?!

It's a PRETTY color!!!

yeah.... she wasn't able to keep a straight face either!

I bet a local hairdresser would TOTALLY understand!

But, if there WERE any local hairdressers here, I wouldn't be living in the country!

After she composed herself and all the other hairdressers quit laughing at her backwoods client,
I think she did a really good job!

Mommas got wheels!!

No, I'm not talking about my awesome Pink & Black Jeep.
I'm talking about my brand new Black & Pink....

Heelys!!
Yep, these babies are NOT one of my kids shoes.
They are all mine!

Remember a year or so ago when Heelys were all the rage with every kid in school?
Well... They are not just for kids!

Not only do they look all fancy-like (and match my Jeep)
But they were easier to use than I thought they would be!

Now, before you shake your head, or ask me what color cast I am now wearing, let me tell you about them.
The really cool thing about Heelys is the fact that YOU choose when you want to use the wheels!
BY shifting your weight from the back to the front of your foot, you control when and if you are gliding or walking normally.

I won't lie and tell you I wasn't worried when I laced them onto my feet, I mean come one, I am NOT known for my gracefulness withOUT wheels!
But, They are surprisingly easy to use!
and riding/gliding around on them has made me use muscles I forgot I had!

Thats right!
I look hip and cool, but my butt, calves and thighs are getting a work-out! Whats NOT to love?
