After the terrible wreck The Man-of-My-Dreams and the kids had in our truck, we were left rather shaken.
And, we were left with no truck!
We have a farm...
We NEED a truck!
We wern't sure what we were gonna do.
I mean, we have been spending so much time trying to pay off our bills, we weren't prepared for a expense like buying a new truck right now.
As most of you know, I'm a Chevygirl (#ChevyGirls on Twitter)
I have always loved Chevy's.
And in the past year I was able to drive some brand new Chevy's and tell people what I thought about them.
Of, course, I fell in LOVE even more!
The Chevys I drove were great! They had everything I could ever want in both a family car and a truck!
But, I always had to give them back at the end of my month-long test drives (darn!)
I have to say that, after our family wreck, Chevy has proven to be SO much more than a great vehicle brand.
Chevy has proven itself to be a company full of Great people!
Within a day of hearing about our wrecked truck, they sprung into action to help my family.
They made sure we had access to any and all incentives that were available at the time and hooked us up with our local dealer.
They sent concerned e-mails, and went above and beyond customer service to make sure we not only got the truck of our dreams, but one we could also afford!
And they did it in the most reassuring and calming way! We were already stressed to the limit, dealing with insurance companies, unexpected bills, and trying to figure out what we were gonna do.
LOOK!!
THIS baby is ours!
It's SO refreshing to find a company that truly cares about and stands beside it's customers when they really need them!
Thank You Chevy!
You helped put this family back on the road!
And...
The Smile on the Man-of-My-Dreams face is Priceless, as is the security we feel when driving this beauty!
(Chevy did NOT ask me to write or reimburse me for this post, I am simply spreading the word about what I have found to be an Amazing company that sells AMAZING vehicles!)

That is awesome...LOVE CHEVY!
I'm so happy that you guys were able to have a good experience truck shopping after going through such a stressful situation. It's a beauty! Have you named him/her yet? ;)
I feel the same way about my GMC (if memory serves, they're the same parent company). They went out of their way to help us find a truck we could afford which would be handi-accessible and offered to do the modifications when the time came (I can no longer crawl in and out of the truck so it has to have one of those special seats on the driver's side). It's got 76K miles on it and still looks like new and runs like a champ.
I'm so glad that they were able to help you out. I love a good company which stands behind its product and its clients.
After such a bad experience, I am so glad you had such aa great experience with Chevy. It's my favorite truck also. Have one sitting in my barn with 230,000 miles on it! Works great as a farm truck..so reliable.
Glad you all are doing well. Have missed you on the blog. Take care...Blessingss!

Oh, what a terrible experience. I'm glad you're all okay, and you've got a new truck. I love chevy too.:-)
Glad to see that you got through it, especially for the sake of your husband. Trucks are to men what children are to women. ;)
One very interesting book losely related to Homesteading and making it of the grid, though slightly more radical, is the 'Handbook of Traditional living'.

The same place also sells a few real nuggests (like the Self-sufficency handbook and the Ecotopia-books):
