- He never forgets to tell me he loves me before he hangs up the phone.
- He never forgets to call me every morning while he works out of town.

- He never forgets that I told him 6 months ago that I was gonna clean out our closet and purge my stuff, but haven't gotten to it yet.

the phrase, "be safe and careful and remember i love you." is said nearly always when one or the other of the family is leaving the house. i is changed to we when we say it to boy.
i started saying it when bran worked at a warehouse and he'd had several injuries at work. then one day i forgot to say it and it bothered him the entire time he was at work. when he got home he fussed about it. since then it's rare to be left out of a family departing.
Yep here too! If one of the kids make it out the door without me saying Be careful of you & I love you.. it bothers me the whole day. ;)
