The Little-Foreman-in-Pink and I were looking around the toy store so I could get some ideas for her gifts.
One thing I knew she needed was a new ride-on vehicle to use around the farm.
Two years ago we bought her an adorable Dora The Explorer 4-wheeler.
She loves it! She rides right beside Daddy on his big 4-wheeler.
This little purple 4-wheeler has driven hundreds of miles.
It's time for a new one.
So my search began.
I want her new vehicle to be able to ride through the pastures, ditches, & drives.
I was excited to show her the big PINK Barbie Jeep.
It is perfect for her!
It has room for her "stuff", it has enough power to get through the ditch, and lets face it...
It's Pink, it's girly, It's cute!
She, of course, fell in love with the Kawasaki Camo Brute Force 4-wheeler "Just like daddy's".
Try as I might, she could not be persuaded to accept the very PINK Jeep.We got home and I began searching online for the best deal for her new vehicle.
I pulled up the picture of the Pink Jeep so I could take one more look at the adorable Pink Jeep.
When my sweet daughter strolled through the room.
"OOoooooh! I Want THAT One!!" she squealed.
"The Pink One?" I asked kinda surprised.
"Yes I want that one!! Its my FAV-O-RITE!!"
This is the picture she saw on the Mega-Store website.
In the store, it was assembled and ready to go and she showed little interest in it.I was confused as to why she changed her mind. But I was happy that my little girl was gonna ride around the farm in a little girl car. I WON!!
Later when her Aunt Bethany called, she told her all about the pink Jeep she wanted for Christmas.
"It has friends!" she excitedly explained.
She named the little girls Brooke & Stacy and was thrilled that she may be getting them for Christmas.
Um yeah... the picture online showed little girls riding in the Jeep.
She doesn't want the Jeep... she wants friends.
Yeah... she may need to get out more!
And... Where can I find a store that sells little friends for little girls who live out in the country where no other little girls live?

I homeschool two of my kids so they would be more than happy to be "friends" with your's. My daughter (5) thinks her best friend is on her DVD, she really needs to get out more too. lol

My Daughter is four and had the same dora little fourwheeler. We upgraded last year and got her the bigger barbie fourwheeler. Pink and cute. She wanted it to look like our fourwheelers. It goes through trails and everything. You might look at that if a fourwheeler is the way she is wanting to go. Just a thought.

This just seems far too familiar to me. I too was a little girl out on the farm with no other little girls close by, but I did make friends in Sunday School at my church and later was part of my church's youth group and that was a great way for me to make some girlfriends and have some social time. (PS. I too wanted the GI JOE jeep, not the pink Barbie one ;)
