Hairs!! (rant of the day)

OK... y'all are my buddies right?
My new BFF's?
We can share our deepest darkest secrets right?
You won't tell if I tell you something kinda embarrassing right?
Ok, good! I thought so.

So, whats up with these 3 rogue hairs that have decided to sprout under my chin?

There were no hairs there when I was 35 years old.
Now that I'm 36 POOF there they are!
They are thick.
They are dark.
They are rooted all the way into the back of my head.

They seem to be magical hairs!
I look in the mirror when I am getting ready in the morning and there are no stray, ugly, old-woman hairs to be found.
I hop into the car on my way somewhere and happen to glance into the rear-view mirror and they are there standing at attention , waving for all the world to see!

I just don't get it.
As men age, they lose their hair...
As women age we get more?
In places that they DO NOT belong?
Whats Up With That?!?!?

Don't I have enough problems already?!?

Stretch marks from birthin all them babies?
Sagging un-perky boobs from nursin all those babies?
Gray hairs popping up from all those babies turning into teenagers?
Wrinkles forming on my forehead from worrying bout those teenagers?

Seriously.... Isn't that enough?

well?? Isn't it?!?!?!?

Ok.. I feel better now...
How bout you?

Edited to add...
Well well well lookie there!
23 more days till my lil ol' blogs 1st anniversary!
shhhhh.. don't tell anyone.... but an anniversary give-a-way sounds like a great idea to me!
Stay tuned for details......

i've always had one hair that grew under my chin. it used to be black and now it's white. i guess all that pulling it out must've made it all scared.

i have a single black hair growing out of the end of my chin now. it's not thick but it is very dark and hard to pull out. danged thing.

happily i come from a relatively hairless family (i never had to pluck my eyebrows because of a unibrow) but those random hair things are disconcerting.

What are you talking about? Inappropriate hairs? Gray hair? Wrinkles? NO way! Honey, you need to get yourself a rear-view mirror from the land of Denial!

It is kinda funny how all that stuff sorta happens at once and you do think you've got it under control until you're out somewhere.

Why do men get distinguished and we get old? My husband is almost completely gray and it is sexy -- has been since he first started going silver at the temples. I have gray that makes me want to shave my head.

Only three? What the heck? You're a lucky girl, you are. Oh, and honey, they won't restrict themselves just to your chin either. Now, you just go and have a good day. :):):) Margie

lol. you crack me up.
Don't shoot me since I'm only 20-something and I haven't had those weird hairs yet. I hope that when it happens (cuz i know it will)I can have a sense of humor about it. Laughter is way better than tears....although, in this case, I'm sure tears are tempting.

Well, I don't have unwanted hairs yet, but my body went to shit after having James... and i'm only 19! I hope your magical hairs magically disappear!

I hate mine. A single one. A loner stranded in my chin. Won't be there for ages. It's certainly not there in the morning. It will pop out, of its own accord, about midafternoon, in the office.
I hate that hair.
That single, insignificant tiny piece of facial hair can bring a strong, beautiful, thought rather plump woman down in a millisecond straight.
Do men have this thing goo? I guess not, they'd find a cure by now...

Wait until you hit fifty and those hairs start sprouting everywhere. Enjoy the fact there are so few at the moment.
And it seems as though you never see them until you're on your way to go somewhere.

Oh yes I know the plight of the stray hair phenomenon!!! That dilema falls right under saggy tatas and butt dimples!

I turn 35 in a month and I have noticed so many random changes in my body lately. For one... I did not have pimples as a teenager. Why they heck is my face breaking out now?

I'm sure we could all share these 30 year old slights that are coming upon us!

ONLY 3???? Hee hee...they'll be MORE! Welcome to your middle ages.

PS: It's not so bad, a 15x lighted mirror and a good pair of tweezers will become your best friends :)

I was pulling one of those chin-hairs out while I was in my work bathroom the other day and an older woman came in, saw what I was doing and said, "sorry, but it only gets worse." Gah!

They are so much easier to see in the car mirror. I have one I can feel on my chin but can only really grab it with the tweezers when I'm in the car.

There are worse things than chin hairs. My Mother started getting those age spots on her hands about the age I am now. There's something to look forward to. :(

Oh, no. I've got a single whitish hair that grows out of the side of my face near my cheek bone. Since it's so pale, I only ever see it when it's like two inches long. Gross.

I read somewhere that it is all down to hormone imbalance. i.e the progesterone level in a female body may be slightly higher on certain days of a year . Plus it happens to everyone whether they realise it or not. at least it is just ONE :) extra facial hair and nothing else *wink*wink*

You might consider buying stock in wax right about now. Easier, faster and less painful than tweezers. 'Cause where there's three, there will be more. :P
