We ran out to go buy some more ice...
There was so much traffic from people trying to navigate back roads to get out faster that we almost couldn't get off of our road!
now re-thinking leaving at all.....

A few years ago when we lived in Florida, soon after Andew, we decided we would evacuate. We ended upsitting on a road for 9 hours, we travelled all of 60 miles and still spent the night in a shelter. We decided we could sleep in the shelter 5 miles from the house after that rather than the shelter 60 miles from our house after 9 hours in the car.
