I don't know how these little suckers managed to hang on through 100mph winds of the hurricane, but they are here to stay!

One minute they are fighting and chasing everyone away from their beloved Kool-Aid nectar (AKA Hummingbird crack)

Hmmm they sound kinda like my young-folk!

If I could have just a teeny bit of their energy and speed I'd be unstoppable!
And this house would be clean!
12 days no power
+ hurricane damage
+ 5 kids
-----------------------------
= 12 weeks worth of clean-up!

That's awesome! I planted flowers to attract the hummingbirds and put a feeder in the middle of the flowers. The feeder food needs replaced once in a while, but I've yet to see a hummingbird out there.
LMBO!! Hummingbird crack....LOL!1
I'm just starting to get my feeders out. I want to put up a humming bird feeder. What do you put in yours. I remember my mother making syrup to put in hers but I'm not sure how she did it. Would love some hints.

I used a quart of water + 3/4'ish cup of sugar, and then sprinkled in a little bit of wild cherry Kool-aid powder lol they love it!
They have wings of fury! Hurricanes have nothin' on them!
If they can't physically help at least they are helping bring a smile to your face.
Thinking of you!
dang, they should at least be able to use those wings to dust furniture and sweep floors. :)
