We went for our first picking of the season.The bushes were sagging with beautiful plump, sweet blueberries
Together, the kids and I picked 29lbs. in 45 minutes!!
Not too shabby if I do say so myself!!!
Everyone in our family looks forward to Blueberry season all year long.

i remember picking wild blueberries with my family. they were somewhat less plentiful than the domestic highbush type and definitely more flavourful (as with most wild berries). the most memorable thing for me was that the weather was always cloudy, rainy and cool. then again, that could be memories could be from just one picking.
