Here we go again.

All of the young-men-folk are back in school as of today.
While I am sitting here basking on the quietness that surrounds me, I am working on our new "plan".

This was the summer of slacking around here.
There was no schedule.
There were no real goals.
Thus we accomplished, zilch, nada, nothin!

Now that the strict school schedule is in effect once again.
I decided that it's not only the boys who need to follow a "plan/schedule" but I do too!

Today I am working on my "plan/schedule".
Yuck...
I have never been a very organized person.
Sure... Truth be told, I am not organized at all!

I'll be back in a bit with plan #1.

While I'm working on it...
You tell me....
Are you a scheduler? A list maker? What skills and/or tricks do you use to keep yourself on schedule and accomplish your goals?

What works for you?

I'm a list maker...who tends to lose the lists quite frequently. :P

I couldn't remember to do much without my lists. Seems that writing it down helps me remember better.

I'm not my mother's daughter that's for sure. She makes lists and actually crosses things off it. Go figure. Now myself, if I can find a pen and paper in the same day I feel like I accomplished something. lol But I too make lists to lose them. I'm more a fly-by-the-seat-of-my pants kind of person. That's probably why nothing gets done.

Since I'm the little sister that rushed around the house with you 15 minutes before Mom came home, I don't think I'm any better with making plans.

As far as my own plans? They always fall through because I'm tired by the time I get home from work. :o(

I totally need to be a list person. I neejd to make lists for the kids for their morning & after-school routines. I've found it really helps them, but I've been lax about sticking to it.

Gotta go find online schedule makers now.

I have to have routine to survive. Summers and Christmas break nearly kill me. I have most stuff scheduled: Waking up, heading out the door for school, what time I do household stuff, what time I do internet stuff, even what time I do Bible study... If I don't schedule it, it tends to slip through the cracks.

Although since I've hit middle age, my lists do tend to get lost!
